A Houzz.com contributor, her work has also been published in several national print magazines including Artful Blogging, Romantic Home, and Flea Market Décor. In her free time, she helps private clients make their homes as beautiful as they imagine them. Anita lives with her husband and two daughters in Houston, Texas. Her dream day: spending time with friends at their family farm in Round Top, Texas.
Aileen Allen is the founder of At Home in Love, a blog all about inspiring interiors and doable DIY projects. Aileen’s style is fresh, quirky, and colorful. She loves air plants, ice cream, and the color pink. She lives with her husband Ben in Seattle, Wash., where she drinks coffee by the bucketful and runs outside as fast as she can when the sun comes out! Aileen has a passion for budget-friendly interiors and DIY projects so simple anyone can master them.
As a child, Becca Meyer was obsessed with the annual parade of homes in her hometown of Madison, Wis. She’d snap photos, study floor plans, and even draw up her own. After earning her BS in Interior Design from UW–Madison, Becca went to work as an interior designer. Her love for homes and décor later led her to Springs Window Fashions, where she draws on her years of experience as designer and product marketing manager to grow the Bali brand as content strategy manager and visual merchandising consultant. Becca lives in Madison with her husband in their 1950s ranch house, designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. When she’s not at work or in school (she’s currently earning her MBA), you’ll likely find Becca outdoors, snuggled in a sleeping bag, strapped to a snowboard, or paddling down a raging river.
Kim Vargo is one half of the team behind the Chicago, Ill.-based blog Yellow Brick Home. On any given day, you’ll find her and her husband Scott (her better half, she says) course correcting their way through their 120-year-old house. They’ve taken down walls, turned a kitchen into a bedroom, and love any reason to wear their tool belts for an entire weekend. Alongside their crew of four rescued pets, they’re slowly turning that old house into a dream home.
